Psionic Powers

Psionic powers are quantum-manipulation abilities that originate from the mind of a sentient being and usually affect the mind of another sentient being. Psionic potential varies greatly from species to species. Some species, such as XXX, have no history of psionic powers. Some, such as Humans, see only a small percentage of their species develop powers. On the other hand, the entire Akaylan species has psionic powers, and the XXX are composed entirely of psionic energy. Though no A.I., android or drone has developed psionic powers, they are able to be affected by them. Scientists still do not completely understand how this is possible.

Psionics-users are often referred to as “psykers.”
